 Men's Volleyball

The Men’s Club Volleyball team at Sacred Heart will begin its fifth season as a club squad in 2014-2015. The team is consisted of about 15 men of all different volleyball backgrounds (gym class/high school/club/Division 1 experience).

The team is a member of the NECVL Volleyball league which consists of about 40 teams in the Northeast USA. The league competes tournament style which means all of our matches are on Saturday's or Sunday's in February and are all-day events. It is a long day but the tournaments are a lot of fun and the team gets to travel to Rhode Island, Boston and everywhere in between to compete. As long as the team does well enough, we will qualify for the NECVL Championships at the end of March. Here is the league website:

The 2013-2014 season was a successful one. For the second straight year, Sacred Heart finished first in the NECVL Division 2 South and qualified for the NECVL Championships in New Hampshire. Sacred Heart finished the regular season with an 8-2 record. Unfortunately Sacred Heart struggled at the Championships going 1-3 on Day 1 and 0-2 on Day 2, completing the season with a 9-7 record.

They practice two nights a week from September until March at 10pm.
