Parking Information
General Athletic Parking
There is no charge for regular season event parking (see Football
Game Day Parking below). Parking lots are adjacent to all home
venues. For events on Campus Field (Football, Field Hockey, M / W
Soccer and M / W Lacrosse), in the William H. Pitt Center (M / W
Basketball, M / W Volleyball, Wrestling and M / W Fencing), at
Pioneer Park (Softball) or at the Pioneer Tennis Courts (M / W
Tennis), parking adjacent to the venues can be limited. Please
allow time to walk or ride the shuttle vans (for home events the
shuttle vans are offered) from the lower campus parking lots if
necessary.
Football Game Day Parking
All parking lots adjacent to Campus Field and the William H. Pitt
Center are reserved parking lots for home football games. Tailgate
Village is located in the Curtis Hall parking lot and a current
season Tailgate Village parking pass is required to enter. The
Tennis Court parking lot and the Pitt Center Circle are reserved
for game officials, media, visiting team officials, corporate
partners and handicapped accessible parking and require a current
General Athletic, Media or Corporate Partner parking pass to enter.
Tailgate Village parking passes are available on a season basis
only and are not available for single game purchase. No Tailgate
Village parking passes will be sold to current students.
Handicapped Accessible Parking
Handicapped accessible parking is available in the Tennis Court
parking lot for home games on Campus Field and in the Pitt Center
Circle for home games in the William H. Pitt Center. A handicapped
permit or license plate is required to park in these designated
areas. The entrance to Campus Field is on ground level and a ramp
is available to access the home bleacher seating area. The entrance
to the William H. Pitt Center is also located on ground level (with
ramp cutouts on all curbs to access sidewalks).
Security
A Sacred Heart staff member will serve as game administrator at all
home athletic events. Sacred Heart University Public Safety and the
Fairfield Police Department will coordinate with the Department of
Athletics to staff home events, and all parking lots, when deemed
necessary.
Shuttle Vans
15-passenger shuttle vans are provided for all home football and
men and women's basketball games. The vans will run continuously
beginning one and a half hours prior to the start of the game
through one half-hour after the conclusion of the game. The vans
will circle all lower level parking lots on the Sacred Heart campus
and drop-off passengers at the entrance to Campus Field or the
William H. Pitt Center, respectively.
