Hunt Seat Places Sixth at Connecticut College

GALES FERRY, Conn.- The Sacred Heart University Equestrian Hunt Seat competed at Connecticut College this afternoon. The team placed sixth overall while host Connecticut College won the overall event with 35 points while SHU scored 19 on the day. Lea Mascola placed first in the Show Class 13 Novice Fences Section C and Michaela Fritsch placed first in Show Class 19 Novice Flat Section C. The two had the best day for the Pioneers and Fritisch was named the team MVP for her impressive performance.

The team returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 27 when the Hunt Seat returns home for its second event of the season.
