(Fairfield, CT) - Kody Kerski (Waterbury, CT) has signed with the Holyoke Blue Sox of the New England Collegiate Baseball League, becoming the ninth member of the Sacred Heart University Baseball team to join a collegiate summer baseball team.
Kerski was the winning pitcher in the Northeast Conference championship game over Monmouth for the second straight season, finishing the 2012 year with a 4-4 record and 4.94 ERA. He joins fellow SHU pitcher Jeff Stoddard (Branford, CT) in the NECBL, as Stoddard is playing the summer with the Mystic Schooners.
Also, Troy Scribner (Washington Depot, CT) has changed summer collegiate summer leagues, joining the Edenton Steamers of the Coastal Plain League in North Carolina.
