Prior to SHU: While at Holy Family, led the team in scoring and rebounding averaging 24.1 points and 9.9 rebounds per game...Shot 59.8% from the field in 2009-10 and finished the year with 74 blocks and 37 steals on the defensive end...Was a Division II Bulletin All-American honorable mention while also earning National Association of Basketball Coaches Division II All-East District and Daktronics All-East Region second team honors...Named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) first team...As a freshman, Swidowski was the ECAC and CACC Rookie of the Year after leading his team in scoring (16.1 ppg) and rebounding (8.0 rpg).
High School: D?uring his high school career at Holy Cross High School, he was a 1,000 point scorer while leading his team to a school record 24 wins as a senior...Set a new school record with 106 blocks and averaged 16.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game on his way to first team all-conference, second team All-South Jersey and third team All-State selections...A National Honor Society student-athlete.

He is a member of the SHU Student-Athlete Advisory Council. His nickname is Swid. His favorite teams are the Philadelphia Phillies and the New Orleans Saints and his favorite NBA player is Kevin Garnett. His favorite movies are the Boondock Saints and Wedding Crashers and he enjoys watching the TV show Fraiser. He likes to golf and his favorite food is a Yellow Submarine Cheesesteak. He considers his parents his role models.
