Setting the Scene... The Pioneers return to the Pitt Center Tuesday night to host the Big Green of Dartmouth. SHU will play five of its eight games in December at home.

Last Time Out... SHU shot 52.2% from the field to get within two points of St. John's, 36-34, at halftime Saturday at Carnesecca Arena. However, the Red Storm shot 69% in the second half to pull away for a 90-55 win. Kinnon LaRose and Mario Matasovic each led the Pioneers with 12 points. Zach Radz had nine points and six rebounds off the bench.
All-Time Vs. Dartmouth... Tuesday marks the first meeting between the Pioneers and Big Green on the hardwood. Dartmouth is the sixth different Ivy League school to face Sacred Heart, joining Yale, Brown, Columbia, Harvard, and Cornell.
Cleaning Up On The Glass... The Pioneers lead the NEC in rebound margin, outrebounding its opponents by 8.2 rebounds per game. SHU also leads the NEC with 40 rebounds per game. Both Joseph Lopez (1st-8.6/game) and E.J. Anosike (6th-7.1/game) are in the top-10 in the NEC in rebounds.
Matasovic Making Shots... Redshirt-Senior forward Mario Matasovic is second in the NEC in field goal percentage, shooting 65.7% from the field through eight games. Matasovic was 5-for-7 from the field Saturday at St. John's to score a team-high 12 points. In two games last week at UMass Lowell and St. John's, Matasovic was a combined 12-for-16 from the field. He is 24th in the country in field goal percentage. He is SHU's leading scorer at 13.3 points per game.
Zach Attack... Sophomore guard Zach Radz made a career-high three three-pointers Saturday at St. John's and tied a career high with six rebounds. In his last five games, Radz has averaged 9.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. He has also shot 84.6% at the foul line in the last five games, going 8-for-9 in SHU's win at UMass Lowell last Wednesday on his way to a career-high 13 points.
Threes From LaRose... Kinnon LaRose made a season-high four three-pointers on Saturday, scoring 12 points for his third double-figure scoring game of the year. LaRose was 4-for-9 from the three-point arc at St. John's after going 4-for-13 in his previous three games combined. The redshirt-sophomore leads SHU in three-point shooting with 15 makes and a 35.7% three-point percentage.
Scouting Dartmouth... Picked to finish seventh in the Ivy League, the Big Green moved to 2-3 on the season after a 73-60 loss at Canisius on Saturday. Dartmouth held a 14-7 lead early, but a 14-0 Golden Griffins run erased that advantage. Taylor Johnson led the Big Green with 13 points, as Chris Knight added 12 poitns and five rebounds off the bench. Miles Wright leads Dartmouth in scoring and rebounding, averaging 13 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Knight is second in scoring at 12.8 points per game. The Big Green is averaging 70.4 points per game with a -5.8 rebound margin.
