Sacred Heart Football Versus Bryant Kicks Off Northeast Conference TV Schedule

The Northeast Conference has released its 2011 television slate and the Pioneers will battle the Bulldogs September 16 on MSG Plus Network and Cox Sports. Sacred Heart's clash with the newest member of the NEC will make history as the first conference football game broadcasted in high definition.  The 2011 Northeast Conference television schedule includes five total games and will feature all nine NEC football programs.

Both Northeast Conference football broadcasters will return for the 2011 season, play-by-play voice Paul Dottino enters his ninth year calling games for the league.  Steve Levy, a former quarterback for Cal, joins Dottino in the both for his second season of color commentary.

In addition to MSG Plus Network and Cox Sports, the Northeast Conference will have football games aired on ESPN3, Fox College Sports, FSN-Pittsburgh, PCNC Pittsburgh – WPXI, Fox8 Johnston/Altoona, and Time Warner Channel 3 Albany.  The Northeast Conference debuted televised football games in 2003 and has expanded its coverage into this season's package of three HD broadcasts and two primetime affairs.
