Jim Jeffers begins his second season as an assistant coach for the Sacred Heart Pioneers in 2013.  Jeffers joined the SHU coaching staff at the start of spring practice in 2012.  He will once again work the Pioneer wide receivers again this fall.

Jeffers came to Sacred Heart after spending three seasons as the quarterback and wide receivers coach at King's College in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.  Jeffers served as the co-offensive coordinator of the junior varsity team.  In 2010, he coached quarterback Corey Lavin and wide receiver Jay Torres-Oseicki to second team All-Middle Atlantic Conference honors.

In 2009, Jeffers was the junior varsity offensive coordinator at Woodlawn High School in Baltimore, Maryland.

As a player, he was a three-year letterwinner playing quarterback at Muhlenberg College.  He helped guide his team to two Centennial Conference Championships and a record of 20-3 in his junior and senior seasons.  He was also named the winner of the Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Award.

Jeffers graduated in 2009 from Muhlenberg College with a degree secondary education.
