Talwar Improves In Round Two At Kissimmee Regional

KISSIMMEE, Fla.— Sacred Heart University men's golf freshman Saptak Talwar improved on his first-round score at the NCAA Men's Golf Regional at the Watson Course at Reunion Resort on Tuesday, shooting a four-over 76 in round two. 

Talwar bested his first day one score by six strokes in the second of three rounds. He opened the day with a birdie on the par-five first hole before finishing the opening nine four-over. The rookie settled down on the back nine, shooting an even 36 as he responded with a birdie on 13 after his lone bogey in the last nine on hole 12.

He currently sits 74th on the individual leaderboard at 14-over par and concludes play tomorrow morning with the third and final round.
