Men's Golf Finishes Fourth at Connecticut Cup

ELLINGTON, CT - Freshman Josh Salah (Gloucester, MA) continued the hot start to his collegiate career, shooting 220 for three rounds at the Connecitcut Cup and helping the Sacred Heart men's golf team to a fourth-place finish in the 13-team field.
The Pioneer team total of 906 put them five strokes behind third-place Bryant. Arkansas-Little Rock won the event with an impressive 868 total, followed by Bryant at 890. UConn and AIC also posted 906 totals to finish in a fourth-place tie with the Pioneers.
Senior Adam Petrasovic (Tecumseh, Ontario) had the best finish of the 2009-10 season with a 226 total, finishing tied for 19th. Sophomore Joe Serrentino (Cromwell, CT) finished at 231 for the Pioneers and was tied for 29th. Sophomore Martin Crane (Danbury, CT) was the fourth SHU finisher at 232, tied for 32nd.
SHU finishes out the fall schedule starting October 19 at the New England Championships.
