Men's Hockey Opens Weekend Series at Robert Morris Friday Night

Setting the Scene...The Sacred Heart Pioneers continue their four-game road swing this weekend with a two-game series at Robert Morris. The Pioneers are looking for their first win of the season after losing 5-2 at Princeton last Sunday.
Scouting the Colonials... Robert Morris enters the weekend with a 12-9-2 record. The Colonials are 7-8-1 in Atlantic Hockey after being swept at Air Force last weekend. Robert Morris has 15 points in the league, one point behind Connecticut and RIT for eighth place. Adam Brace is tied for fifth in Atlantic Hockey in points with 22, scoring nine goals with 13 assists while being a +12 for the season. Goaltender Eric Levine is fourth in the league with a 2.34 goals against average.
Sheehan Keeps Scoring ... Brian Sheehan became the first Pioneer to reach double-figures in goals this season with a pair of power-play tallies against Air Force Jan. 19-20. His 10 goals this season equal his goal production from a season ago. Sheehan has recorded a point in six of the last seven games.
Big January for Barthelmess ... Sophomore forward Chad Barthelmess led the Pioneers with seven points in January, averaging a point per game for the month. He had two goals and five assists in January, scoring against Canisius on Jan. 12 and Princeton last Sunday. Barthelmess entered the month with two goals, and now has four goals and five assists for the season.
Points From the Blue Line... Sacred Heart's defensemen have tallied eight points in the last three games. Sophomore Jared Eng had four points in the two games against Air Force, including a power play goal and two assists on Jan. 20. Bryan Felice and Will Rayner each had an assist in the Air Force series. Felice also assisted on Rayner's first goal of the season last Sunday at Princeton.
