SHU Men's LAX Places Two Players on All-CAA Teams

FAIRFIELD, CT (May 4, 2006) - Sacred Heart senior Chad Clark (Camillus, NY) and freshman Bobby Karl (Clifton Park, NY) were named to the All-Colonial Athletic Association Second Team and All-Rookie Team announced Thursday afternoon by the league office.

Clark, the Pioneers lone senior defender, was a captian this season and started all 14 games. Clark finished with a team-best 51 ground balls leading the SHU defense also causing 18 turnovers. He finished his career fourth on the all-time list for ground ball with 159.

Karl had a stellar rookie campaign, scoring 19 points, fourth on the team. He notched eight goals and was second on the club with 11 assists. He appeared in all 14 games, making nine starts and added 21 ground balls to his season totals.
