SHU's Keith Rowe Named All-East in the Decathlon
Sacred Heart senior Keith Rowe (Taunton, MA) earned All-East honors in the decathlon at the 2010 IC4A Championships held at Princeton University. Rowe. competiting in the last meet of his four year career, finished seventh in the event to garner All-East honors for the first time.
Rowe finished with 6,391 total points over the 10 events. Rowe won a pair of events, taking the pole vault by clearing the bar at a height of 14'7.25" (4.45m) and the high jump with a height of 6'4.25" (1.94m). He also post strong finishes in the discus where he took third with a throw of 122'1" (37.21m). He took fourth in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.50 seconds and fifth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.33 seconds.
Freshman Jeremy Rosado (Brooklyn, NY) broke his own school record in the 400 meter hurdles peliminary round, clocking in at 53.63 seconds.
