(Fairfield, CT) - Bertony Jean-Louis (Norwalk, CT) has been named Northeast Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this season, announced Tuesday, February 1.
Jean-Louis matched the program-record time he previously set in the 60-meter hurdles this past weekend at the Boston University Terrier Classic. The defending NEC indoor hurdles champion finished first among 42 hurdlers in 8.01 seconds. He also matched the league-leading PR he ran at the Harvard Open in December, a performance for which he was awarded NEC Track Athlete of the Week as well.
His 8.01 s mark is well under the event qualifying standard for the IC4A Championships in March.
