SHU Compete At Princeton, Stony Brook & UAlbany
Princeton, NJ. - Trevor Guerrera ran his main event, the 800 meters, qualifying for IC4A's and New England's along the way. The senior finished in a time of 1:51.16. He still ranks first in the event in the conference with his Stanford performance, and 28th in the Division 1 East Region.
 
At the Wolfie Invitational, hosted by Stony Brook, Elijah Pierson took 3rd in the 100 meter dash, finishing in 11.21 seconds. Right behind him was teammate Quaheem Dufane, who took 6th in 11.26 seconds.
 
Jeffrey Young took 2nd in the 110m Hurdles, in a time of 15.68. The sophomore currently ranks 5th in the NEC in the event.
 
The Pioneers were also in action at the 2018 UAlbany Spring Classic.
 
Michael Kearns won the shot put with a best throw of the day landing at 14.81 meters. Rookie Andy Suarez finished 4th in the event.
 
Kearns also set a personal best in the discus, 40.57 meters, to move into the top 8 in the NEC so far this season.
 
In high jump, Reid Chemidlin cleared 1.81 meters, good for 6th place.
 
SHU are back in action at the 124th Penn Relay Carnival at University of Pennsylvania.
