BRONXVILLE, N.Y. (April 25, 2014)—Raymond Satagaj (Rocky Hill, Conn.) and A.J. Logosh (Pittsford, N.Y.) were named to the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association's 2014 All-Academic Team, which was announced by the conference Friday afternoon. The team features 15 players from seven of eight EIVA member institutions.
In his second year with the Pioneers, Satagaj, who boasts a 3.90 GPA, tallied 123 kills in 95 sets. The middle blocker led the team with 71 total blocks for the season, averaging 0.75 per set. He also racked up 31 digs and four service aces throughout the season.
Logosh led the Pioneers averaging 2.20 digs per set, while maintaining a 3.61 GPA. The sophomore tallied 154 digs and 19 assists throughout 70 sets this season.
In order to be named to the team recipients must have participated in at least 60% of their team's sets, maintained a minimum of a 3.50 GPA, and must be in at least their second year of athletic eligibility.
