The Sacred Heart men's volleyball team took the crimson of Harvard at Malkin Center in Cambridge, Mass. The Pioneers fell 3-0, as they now sit 12-7 on the season, and 5-3 in the EIVA. SHU was led by Christopher DeLucie who tallied 13 kills on the day. The Pioneers are back in action as they take on George Mason in a double header next weekend.

SET 1-

  • SHU jumped to an early lead, 3-1 after a pair of attack errors, and a Bobby Costigan kill
  • Each team would go on to exchange point for point till the score was tied up at 15-15. The Crimson would go on to rattle of three points and take a small advantage, but Michael Comens would stall the momentum with a kill of his own

SET 3-

  • In similar fashion the third set would start off with each time locked at 6-6, till SHU would jump to a 8-6 advantage following a DeLucie kill
