Men's Volleyball Falls to Springfield College, 3-1

FAIRFIELD, CT - The Springfield College men's volleyball team came to the Pitt Center Tuesday night and left with a 3-1 (30-17, 26-30, 30-24, 30-22) victory, taking advantage of 32 Sacred Heart hitting errors. The loss dropped the Pioneers to 1-4, while Springfield improved to 2-3.

After dropping the first set 30-17, the Pioneers won their only game of the match in the second, 30-26. SHU committed just two attack errors in the set and got five kills from senior Kalani Efstathiou.

The Pride got 15 kills and 12 digs from Alberto Bravo. Alex Harrison was also in double figures on offense with 12 kills, while AJ Nally added ten.

Roger Parent led the Pioneers with 15 kills and 15 digs.

The two teams will play a rematch on Saturday in Springfield.
