NEWARK, NJ - Roger Parent recorded a double-double with 14 kills and ten digs, while senior Kalani Efstathiou led the Pioneers with 15 kills as the men's volleyball team took down the New Jersey Institute of Technology 3-2 on Friday night.

SHU is now 6-5 overall and 3-0 in the EIVA Hay Division. The win was the third straight for the Pioneers. NJIT falls to 1-8 and 1-2.

The Pioneers won the fifth and deciding set 15-12, thanks to three kills from Efstathiou and some strong blocking work at the net from Mike Komlanc and Tim Sadowski.

Sadowski had an outstanding all-around match, finishing with four kills, four services aces, four total blocks, three digs and 49 assists.

Craig Harvey nearly finished with a double-double of his own with ten kills and nine digs.
