FAIRFIELD, CT - Junior Roger Parent (Burlington, CT) finished with a match-best 19 kills and nine digs to help the Sacred Heart men's volleyball team win its fifth straight game Wednesday night, 3-0 (29-31, 30-24, 30-22, 30-24), over Ramapo College.

Steve Vahalla notched seven kills to help Ramapo win the first set, 31-29. The Roadrunners also took advantage of six Pioneer service errors.

Sacred Heart, now 8-5, used seven kills from Parent to draw even in the match with a 30-24 win in set two. He had seven more, and the Pioneers got six from senior Kalani Efstathiou, to win the third set 30-22. SHU put the match away with a 30-24 win in the fourth thanks to six more kills from Efstathiou.

Efstathiou finished with 18 kills. Adrian Fernandez led the Pioneer defense with ten digs.

The Pioneers are back in action on Saturday at Baruch College in New York.
