SHU takes 6th for highest ICAAAA finish in program history.
Bronx, NY - Men's cross country finished 6th of 19 complete men's teams, the highest ICAAAA finish in program history. With a score totaling 180 points, they beat out all NEC competitors in the race and improved from their 15th place finish in 2015.

Cross Country Has Program-Best 26th Place Showing At Northeast Region Championship
Bronx, New York.- Connor Rog was the 33rd individual finisher in a race that fielded 245 finishers at the Northeast Region Cross Country Championships. His finish is the best in SHU program history. Crossing the line in 31:31.8, his time is also the second fastest 10k in school history.

Loretto, PA - SHU cross country Conor Rog is second man in program history to win individual crown and second consecutive, joining Shane Ferguson from 2015. Rog ran the fastest time on the course in program history, ahead of Christopher Connelly in 2013 (26:54)

Boston, MA. -Sacred Heart Men's Cross Country finished in 18th place at the NEICAAA Championship, an improvement from last year’s 25th place finish. The finish matches the program’s highest place in history at the New England Cross Country Championship.

For the second time in three weeks, Sacred Heart cross country runners Connor Rog and Joshua Hadity have been named the Northeast Conference’s Men’s Cross Country Athlete and Rookie of the Week.

Men’s Cross Country Repeats At Fairfield University Invitational
The Sacred Heart Men’s Cross Country team won for the second consecutive year at the Fairfield University Victor F. Leeber Invitational. The Pioneers finished with 22 points, beating out Fairfield (52 points) by 30 points. This was the 5th time in program history the men have won this meet.

Connor Rog Finishes Second At UMass Invitational
- University of Virginia transfer Connor Rog placed 2nd overall in the men’s 6k race, running 19:03. -Freshman Jody DiCicco was the first SHU finisher, nabbing a 10th place finish in a personal best of 18:11. Her performance is the second fastest freshman time in the history of the program, behind Junior Tara Connelly’s 18:06 which was run on the same course in 2014.

Sacred Heart graduate student Connor Rog was named the Northeast Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week after his win at the Father Bede Invitational last weekend. On the women’s side, freshman Jody DiCicco was named the Female Rookie of the Week.

FAIRFIELD, CT – The Northeast Conference announced the result of the 2016 Cross Country Preseason Coaches Poll and the Sacred Heart men’s team was chosen to finish second. Central Connecticut was the majority vote to finish in the number one spot among the league.
