Ericka Norman (Chino Hills, Calif.) was named Co-Northeast Conference Player of the Week after two stellar performances on this weekend's road trip. Norman provided a spark when the Pioneers needed it the most. With Sacred Heart at 1-3 in NEC play for the first time in program history and staring at a two-game road swing across the Keystone State, the junior point guard stuffed the stat sheet while spearheading a weekend sweep of Saint Francis and Robert Morris. Norman averaged 15.0 points, 8.5 assists, 6.5 steals, and 6.0 rebounds per contest over the two road victories. The 5-foot-7 sparkplug shot a blistering 68 percent from the floor during her visit to Pennsylvania, needing only 16 shot attempts to score 30 points. In 24 minutes of floor time during a 71-50 win at Saint Francis (PA), Norman made a bid for a quadruple-double. Her 16 points, nine assists, eight rebounds and seven steals helped the Pioneers deal Saint Francis (PA), which entered at 4-0 in NEC play, its first league loss of the season. She continued her efficient play during Monday's matinee at Robert Morris. Tallying 14 points, eight assists, six steals and four rebounds, she helped the Pioneers erase a 12-point second half deficit and eke out a 70-66 victory. Norman earned assists on the game-tying three-pointer with 1:29 remaining and the go-ahead jump shot with 33 ticks left.
