Hannah Kimmel's (Harpursville, N.Y.) back-to-back double-doubles spearheaded Sacred Heart's sweep of the NEC's Brooklyn-based contingent earning her this week's Choice Hotels NEC Co-Player of the Week award. Helping propel the Pioneers into a first-place tie atop the conference standings, Kimmel averaged 18.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per contest last week. Kimmel led all scorers in both of Sacred Heart's victories while stretching her streak of double-digit point totals to 12 consecutive contests. The small forward was a factor from downtown, connecting at 46.7 percent clip (7-for-15) from three-point range. Kimmel tallied 18 points and a season-high 12 rebounds during Saturday's 63-55 triumph over St. Francis Brooklyn. The Empire State product recorded her ninth double-double of the season two nights later against LIU Brooklyn. Keying a 71-47 victory over the Blackbirds, Kimmel contributed 18 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals.
