Field Hockey Loses 1-0 at Lock Haven

(Lock Haven, PA) – The Lock Haven Bald Eagles scored on a penalty corner at the very end of the first half for the game's only goal, downing the Sacred Heart Field Hockey team 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Kelly Harsh took a pass from Taylor Kennedy and knocked it in to give Lock Haven a lead at halftime.  Elaina White helped make it hold up with three saves, including two in the second half en route to the shutout.

Mary Altepeter (Chesterfield, MO) made three save as well in goal for the Pioneers.

Sacred Heart returns to action Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm on the road against LaSalle.
