Women's Hockey Dropped 4-2 at Williams

(Niagara, NY) – The Sacred Heart Women's Hockey team lost 4-2 to the Williams Ephs Saturday afternoon. 

Nitsan Goldstein opened the scoring at 10:02 of the first, with Gwendolyn Schultz and Abby Belcrest picking up assists.  Natasha Klinoff tied the game on the power play at 14:29 the first, set up by Catie Ladner.  However, the Ephs regained the lead at 18:04 on a goal by Gabrielle Vukasin, assisted by Goldstein.

After a scoreless second period, Sarah Delaney tied the game 1:52 into the third, once again assisted by Ladner.  However, Perry McCarthy gave Williams the lead for good at 7:44, and Goldstein added another moments later at 8:35 to close out the scoring.

Many Montgomery made 38 saves in net for the Pioneers, who were outshot 42-19 in the game.
