  • Women's Rowing Announces Captains for 2018-19 Season

    FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Sacred Heart University head women’s rowing coach Nicoleta Mantescu and assistant coach Jaclyn Smith announced on Thursday that Danielle Varely and Caroline Bolletino have been named team captains for the 2018-19 season.
  • Women's Rowing Takes Part in Meters for Myeloma Event

    FAIRFIELD, Conn - The Sacred Heart University women’s rowing participated in the Meters for Myeloma 5K walk/run, hosted by the Fairfield University rowing team on Sunday afternoon. Multiple myeloma is the second most common blood cancer and currently there is no cure. Fairfield rowing decided to host the event to raise both awareness and funds for multiple myeloma research.
  • SHU Women's Rowing Concludes Meet at Navy Day Regatta

    PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — The Sacred Heart University women's rowing team took part in the Navy Day Regatta, where the Pioneers competed against local powerhouses Drexel, Temple, Penn, St. Joseph’s, Navy and Delaware on Saturday afternoon. The Novice Eight team led SHU to its highest finish of the day, with an 11th place finish.
