Former SHU Player Mary Dick Named New Assistant Soccer Coach

Fairfield, CT - Former Sacred Heart women's soccer player Mary Dick has been named new women's soccer assistant coach under Head Coach Kim Banner.

Mary comes to Sacred Heart from Massapequa, New York. She earned both her graduate and undergraduate degrees from Sacred Heart, first graduating in 2010 and then finishing up her graduate studies in 2011. Mary earned her Bachelor's degree in History and then earned a graduate degree in Secondary Education. While at Sacred Heart, she was a member of the women's soccer team for all four years under Head Coach Kim Banner.

In 2009, she was team captain and was an instrumental part of a Pioneer team that reached the NEC playoffs. Dick is the only Pioneer ever to record a shutout and score a goal in the same season (2009). Not only stellar on the soccer pitch, Dick was also named to the NEC Academic Honor Roll in all four of her years at SHU. Mary Currently resides in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
