Women's Soccer Falls to Army in OT, 2-1

WEST POINT, NY - Pia White scored in the first minute of the second overtime period to lead the Army women's soccer team to a 2-1 win over Sacred Heart in the opener of the Army Invitational Tournament Thursday night.
After a scoreless first half, sophomore Leigh Dogmanits gave SHU, 0-2, a 1-0 lead in the 63rd minute on a scramble in front of the net off a Pioneer corner.
Less than two minutes later, Deanna Cleg got the equalizer for the Black Knights on a breakaway off a pass from Dymon Washington.
Washington also set up the winning goal in the second OT on a crossing pass that White banged home from eight yards out.
Sophomore Meghan Reichelt made six saves in the net for the Pioneers. Alex Lostetter, the third Army goalie of the game, picked up the win while playing 45 minutes.
Army outshot the Pioneers 22-14.
The Pioneers will face Seton Hall in the second game of the tournament on Sunday.
