  • SHU Swimming Wraps Up Record Breaking Run at NEC Championships

    Cambridge, MA – The Sacred Heat swimming team placed 6th at the NEC Championships that wrapped up Saturday night in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Sacred Heart broke an incredible nine school records in the four days, finishing with 169 total points.

    Fairfield, Conn. – The Sacred Heart women’s swimming team will be traveling to compete in the Northeast Conference Swimming and Diving Championships Wednesday night in Boston, Massachusetts. The Championships are a four day event ending on Saturday night; preliminaries to be set during the day while the final rounds will being held at night.

    Danbury, CT - The Sacred Heart women’s swimming team won 11 of the 13 events held on their way to their first dual meet win of the year, a convincing 106-47 win over Western Connecticut State University Saturday afternoon.

    Worcester, MA - The Sacred Heart women’s team fell to Assumption College over the weekend by a score of 156-97. This was the Pioneers second meet of the year, the first dual of the season.
  • SHU Swimming Kicks Off Season At Iona

    Fairfield, CT – The Sacred Heart women’s swim team start their 2012-13 season on Saturday at Iona. The season sparks a new beginning for the Pioneers with new Head Coach Brent Noble taking the reins. The Pioneers are hoping to bounce back from a tough season last year and start this season off strong.
  • Brent Noble Named New Swim Coach at Sacred Heart University

    Fairfield, CT – Executive Director of Athletics Don Cook has announced that Brent Noble will take control of Sacred Heart swimming as the program's new head coach. Noble served as an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s swim teams at Eastern Carolina, where he was an essential part of rejuvenating the ECU sprint program. Before Eastern Carolina he was the assistant men’s swimming coach at Depauw University in Indiana in which he helped recruit the best freshman class in the program’s history. He completed his undergrad at Eastern Illinois with a major in Exercise Science and will earn a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Indiana University this upcoming December.
