Mike Guastelle is in his 19th year as a member of the Sacred
Heart University athletic department. Mike currently holds the
position of Senior Associate Athletic Director/Operations as well
as Director of Tennis/Head Women's Tennis Coach. Prior to being
named Senior Associate AD, Mike served as Director of Athletic
Communications for seven years (1994-2000) as well as men's tennis
coach from 1994-2005. As a coach, Mike was the 1997 New England
Collegiate Conference's women's tennis "Coach of the Year", led the
men's tennis program to the finals of the Northeast Conference
Tennis Championships in 2004, and led his women's program to their
first New England Intercollegiate Championship in 2005. He holds a
bachelor's degree in Sports Management as well as a master's degree
in Athletic Administration from Springfield College. Mike resides
in Fairfield with his wife Karen and son Jake (7).
