Women's Track and Field Ranked 8th in Northeast in USTFCCA Poll

(Fairfield, CT) – The USTFCCCA released its Division I Indoor Track & Field regional rankings this week, with the Sacred Heart Women's team ranked eighth in the Northeast Region with a an overall score of 130.40.

Several Pioneer Women's Track & Field athletes also earned regional individual rankings as well.  The list includes:

Ashia Wright – 60 Meters
Brittney Lane – Mile, 3000 Meters, 5000 Meters
Brittany Heninger – 3000 Meters, 5000 Meters
Ashley Matakevich – Long Jump, Triple Jump
Lindsay Aponte – Shot Put
Athalia Smith – Weight Throw
Chantaul Smith – Weight Throw
Kolbi Smith – Weight Throw
