Summer Camps and Conference Planning

Sacred Heart University offers a wide variety of summer athletic camp offerings administered and run by both the SHU Department of Athletics and outside organizations. The purpose of each of these camps is to increase the skill levels of boys and girls in their selected sports in an environment that fosters teamwork, individual and team skills development, self-confidence, and good sportsmanship.Sacred Heart Athletics camps are administered by members of the Sacred Heart coaching staff, and instructors include Pioneers, as well as other collegiate and high school coaches. Outside organizations that conduct their camps at the University bring instructor staffs made up of some of the finest collegiate and high school coaches on the East Coast.

Camps being offered this summer include:

Basketball, lacrosse, baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, field hockey and football.

Our football clinic is open to all players entering grades 9-12.

Campers should wear whatever they feel comfortable working out in. The clinic will take place on FieldTurf so cleats are recommended.

Quarterbacks should bring their own football and kickers should bring their own kicking equipment.

Registration will take place in the William H. Pitt Center from 8-8:45 AM.

Online Registration will close on June 7th at 3 PM for Session I and June 20th at 3 PM for Session II. Walk-ups are still welcome the morning of camp!

Camps Run by Outside Organizations At Sacred Heart University
Conferences Events, Meetings and Conference Planning The multi-purpose William H. Pitt Health and Recreation Center offers tremendous flexibility to meet the needs of conferences and expositions. The four-basketball court layout on the main level of the Pitt Center can be set up to accommodate the space requirements for a 200-plus booth trade show. Over 60,000 people have attended events in the Pitt Center since the beginning of the 1999-2000 academic year, including the 2000 Connecticut Business Exposition and the 2000 Connecticut Technology Trade Show and Career Fair.
