Box Score The Sacred Heart University men's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Princeton at Dillion Gymnasium. The Pioneers drop to 4-7 overall and 0-6 in the EIVA, while the Tigers improve to 8-5 overall and 6-1 in the EIVA.
Princeton recorded a .410 hit percentage, while Sacred heart tallied at .208 hit percentage.
The Pioneers are back in action on Saturday, February 29 against NJIT.

- The teams kept even, with the Tigers slightly outscoring the Pioneers 5-4, 21-15

Second Set (Princeton 25, Sacred Heart 21)
- Sacred Heart jumped out to a 3-1 lead on two kills from Shawn Tischler and Paolo Samin
- The Pioneers continued there run to lead by 5-2, however Princeton countered with a 4-1 run to tie the second set at seven a piece forcing a Sacred Heart timeout
- The Tigers took five straight rallies out of the timeout to lead 12-7, the Pioneers went on a run of their own outscoring the host 4-1, 13-11 on two kills from Mahoney and Nicholas Palluzzi fueled the Pioneers run
- Two back-to-back kills from Tischler and Samin fueled a 4-1 run that cut into the Princeton's lead, 16-15
- The Tigers countered with a 4-2 run to lead 20-17
- The teams traded points but Princeton finished the set on a 5-4 run to take a 25-21 victory
Third Set (Princeton 25, Sacred Heart 21)
- Prince led 2-0 at the start of the third set, but the Pioneers countered with a 4-2 run on two kills by Balaguer and one by Mahoney and Samin to tie the game at 4-4
- Three straight service aces from Princeton gave the host an 8-5 lead
- Sacred Heart outscored the Tigers 3-1 fueled by a kill from Tischler, 10-9
- Princeton won four straight points to force a Sacred Heart timeout, 16-10
- The Pioneers went on a 4-0 run on four consecutive attack errors, 16-14
- A 4-1 run by the Tigers increased their lead to five, 20-15
