The Sacred Heart University men's basketball team welcomes NAIA opponent Fisher for a midweek matchup at 7 p.m. The meeting marks the first between the two teams as the Pioneers look to snap a two-game losing streak and grab its first win of the season on their home court.

- SHU and Fisher will meet for the first time in history.
- The last time the Pioneers hosted a non-Division I opponent was Pine Manor in 2019. The Pios earned a 101-57 victory which was also the last time the team posted 100+ points.

- The Falcons posted three-straight 90+ point performances, despite dropping all three contests. The NAIA opponent averages 94.3 ppg led by freshman Ke'Andre Penceal with 28.3 ppg.
- The Pioneers look to snap a two-game losing streak after falling to Binghamton on their home court, 72-60.
- In the pair of losses, Sacred Heart grew cold in the second half shooting under 30% from behind the three-point line. Against Providence, the Pioneers shot 4-15 (26.7%) from three, and 1-11 against Binghamton (9.09%).
OKAY NICO
Sophomore
Nico Galette has seen a well-deserved increase in minutes since his rookie season. Galette started in the first three games of the season and averages 28.5 minutes a night. The New Jersey native also averages 8.7 points per game after netting a career-high 15 points at Providence off six-of-14 shooting from the field. Galette has eyes on becoming the fourth-straight Pioneer to earn the NEC's Most Improved Player of the Year.
FROM LONG DISTANCE
The Pioneers hoist more three-pointers than any other team in the NEC. The team posts 83 three-point attempts across the first three games which ranks 14th nationally. In three-pointers made, SHU ranks 21st in the country with a NEC-leading 28.
TYLER T, MVP?
Tyler Thomas has led the Pioneers in almost all major categories during the first three games. He currently leads the team in points (60, 20.0 ppg), rebounds (20, 6.7 rpg), assists (10, 3.3 apg), blocks (3, 1.0) and steals (4, 1.3 spg). It's no secret that he's SHU's go-to as he leads the country in three-point FG attempts (28) and third in total FG attempts (59). The New Haven, Conn. native also reigns as the NEC leading scorer at 20 ppg.
