Box Score FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Through 31 minutes of Saturday's contest with Hofstra University, the Sacred Heart University men's lacrosse team looked like it was on its way to a good non-conference win. Unfortunately, the Pride turned the tables in the second half as the visitors prevailed 13-6.

Sacred Heart jumped out to a 6-4 lead just 31 seconds into the third quarter when senior attacker Jaden Walcot scored an unassisted goal.
From there it was all Hofstra as the Pride outscored the Pioneers, 9-0 to end the game. Alex Concannon tallied four of his game-high five goals in the final two quarters.
Midway through the first quarter, the Pioneers found themselves in a 3-1 deficit. Attacker Logan Liljeberg scored at the 4:05 mark then Trevor Johnson added a goal with just 44 seconds left in the opening frame to tie the game.
Drew Edwards scored his second goal with 3:25 left in the second quarter as the Pioneers took a 5-4 lead into the break.
Hofstra controlled the second half thanks to its ability to win faceoffs. Pride faceoff man Brian Herber won 11-of-12 second half faceoffs and 19-of-23 overall. Hofstra also had a 30-19 advantage in ground balls.
