• The Pioneers jumped on the board first as sophomore Michelle Clarkin tallied her third goal of the year off a penalty kick 13:50 into the game to put SHU ahead 1-0.
• Just 12 minutes later, LIU answered with a penalty kick goal off the foot of Hirkari Yamada at 25:58 into the game to even the score at 1-1.
• The tight defense would allow zero scorings in the second half and in both overtime periods resulting in the 1-1 tie.
• This is the second game the Pioneers have drawn to a tie.
