HARTFORD, Conn. — A go-ahead home run in the bottom of the sixth by Isiah Daubon pushed the Sacred Heart University baseball team to a 4-3 victory over Northeast Conference foe Central Connecticut State University. The Pioneers rebounded in the second game to split the series at Dunkin' Donuts Park on Saturday.

Of Note:

Daubon's third homer of the season to right center field allowed Austin Markmann and Justin Jordan to cross the plate and seal the win.
In the bottom of the sixth, Justin Jordan's single to center field ignited the offense as Anthony Porrino crossed the plate for the Pioneers' first run.
Porrino's double play stifled the Blue Devil's chance to add to their lead in the top of the sixth.
Ryan LaMay threw for 6.2 innings with one strikeout to secure his third won of the season.
For his seventh save, Brendan Coffey relieved David Aufiero in the eighth with a single out and a runner on second to get the remaining outs with two swinging strikes.
