FAIRFIELD, CONN- The Sacred Heart University women's basketball team is back on the road for the first time in 2022 as it travels to Fairleigh-Dickinson on Saturday, January, 15. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. on NEC Front Row. 

OPENING TIP

• Sacred Heart leads the series against FDU, 32-8.
• The Pioneers are 12-8 when playing the Knights on the road.
• Last season, FDU swept the 2020-21 campaign as it won both contests 74-56 and 72-66.
• Adrianne Hagood scored double-figures in both games with 16 and 19 points, respectively. Kelsey Wood had 14 points in game one, while Nikki Johnson tallied 21 points in game two.
• Sacred Heart currently leads the NEC in the fewest turnovers and is eighth nationally with 145.
• Sonia Smith is fourth in the league in scoring with 13.7 points per game and fifth in assists with 4.2 per game. Olivia Tucker ranks fifth in three-point field goals made with 2.1 per game.
