FAIRFIELD, Conn.— Coming off a league loss to Mount St. Mary's, the Sacred Heart University women's basketball returns to action against Saint Francis on Sunday. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN3 with Paul Dott and Ali Jacques on the call.
OPENING TIP
- Sacred Heart looks to bounce back following its loss to Mount St. Mary's on Friday. The Pioneers have lost three out of their first four games in 2022. Sacred Heart was held below .400 from the field in those contests.

HAGOOD DOING HER THING
Adrianne Hagood has been the glue to Sacred Heart when she decided to return for her fifth season. Since being named to Preseason All-NEC for the second year in a row, the graduate student has posted 12.3 points per game and is shooting 32-of-92 from the field, 16-of-45 from the three-point line and 31-of-39 from the free-throw line. Hagood earned her first NEC Player of the Week honors after posting a 25-point performance at Monmouth (12/2). She notched 22 points, scoring 18 of them on a perfect 7-of-7 from the floor and 4-of-4 from the three-point line against Bryant (12/31). Hagood also drained a perfect 6-of-6 from the free-throw line against Army (11/21).

Olivia Tucker is making headlines after missing last season due to injury. The junior from Newark, Del., is ranked fourth in the NEC in three-point field goals made per game (1.9). Tucker tallied eight of her season-high 16 points from behind the arc against Mount St. Mary's (1/21).
