Of Note
The game went through three ties and four lead changes in the first half. Sacred Heart took a two-point advantage going into halftime thanks to three-straight points from Sonia Smith in the final 15 seconds of the second quarter.

The Red Flash outscored the Pioneers, 26-16, in the third quarter, to give them the advantage, 54-46.

In the fourth quarter, Adrianne Hagood scored six unanswered points that trimmed the score to 63-59 at the 4:14 mark. Two free throws from Kelsey Wood followed by a triple from Smith would make it a three-point game with under two minutes left. Saint Francis extended its lead to seven on four consecutive points before Hagood scored a layup and one to bring it back to four, 72-68. Unfortunately, it was not enough for the Pioneers to complete the comeback as the Red Flash notched two free throws to seal the victory.

Saint Francis outrebounded Sacred Heart, 39-25, and scored six points off 10 offensive rebounds.

Four Pioneers scored in double-figures on the night. Smith posted a career-high 24 points on 7-of-17 from the field and a perfect 7-of-7 from the free-throw line. Hagood had 15 points while Olivia Tucker notched 13. Nikki Johnson finished the game with 11 points.
