HANOVER, N.H.- The Sacred Heart University equestrian team finished day one at the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference North Regional Championships on a high note as they split the opening meets in fences on Saturday.
 
Of Note:
 

• The day started with the first meet against SUNY New Paltz where Lilly Bove tallied a point for SHU as she scored an 83.
• New Paltz would tally three points in the meet to give them a 3-1 lead after the first meet.
• SHU then faced Dartmouth in meet two of the day as Bove tallied a score of 78 on Cake while Danielle DeRisio scored a 76 on Bravado to give SHU the point.
• Alyssa Kinney scored a 67 on Mo which was enough to give SHU it's third point of the day to secure the 3-1 victory.
• Lilly Bove was named Most Outstanding Performer after meet two.
