HANOVER, N.H.- The Sacred Heart University equestrian completed the final day at the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference North Regional Championships as they split the remaining meets in flat on Sunday. The Pioneers finished in second behind SUNY New Paltz.
Of Note:
- The Pioneers were unable to pick up a point in flat against SUNY New Paltz as they scored four straight points to secure a 7-1 victory.
- Hanna Lloyd scored the highest marks against New Paltz as she tallied a 77 on Jilly.
- SHU rebounded against Dartmouth as Danielle DeRisio scored an 81 on Prophet which aided in the Pioneers 6-2 victory over the Big Green.
- Hanna Lloyd also scored a high score with a 72 on Ox which earned SHU a point.
- DeRisio was named the Most Outstanding Performer of meet two.
- Lilly Bove earned a spot on the ECAC Fences Team by going 2-0 in the championship.
