NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The National Tenpin Coaches Association recognized both the Sacred Heart University women's bowling team as well as 20 student-athletes for All-Academic honors.
The NTCA grants the All-Academic Team Award to programs that boast a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or higher for the academic school year. During 2021-22, the Pioneers posted an impressive 3.71 GPA and were among the top 10 programs in the country. The team laurel marks the third-straight year that the Pioneers were awarded for their team academic efforts.
Over 95% of the Pioneer roster earned a 3.40 GPA or higher during the past academic year and are among 397 honorees across the country to collect NTCA All-Academic recognition. The 20 student-athletes include:
