BETHLEHEM, Pa.— The Sacred Heart men's track and field team participated in a dual meet against Lehigh in the Angry Birds Invitational over the weekend. The Pioneers had a pair of first places finishes.

Owen Nassaney was first overall in the high jump at 2.00m, and Joseph Morrone took first in the 200 meter with a time of 22.73.

Nazir Hibbert was second overall in the 60m at 7.17 and was tied for fourth in the high jump at 1.80m.

Corry Brinken took second in the 200 meters in 22.88. Rafael Mahario finished right behind him for a third-place finish at 23.17.

Jonathan Mahon was third in the 400 meters at 53.50. Aidan Glennon had a third-place finish in the shot put at 14.20m.

In the pole vault, Daniel DiGangi was fourth at 4.26m. Dylan Hunt and Hunter Harris were fourth and fifth overall in the triple jump. Hunt was fourth at 12.31m, and Harris was fifth at 11.97m.

Sacred Heart is back in action on Friday, January 20th, at the NYC Gotham Cup.
