Lance Hayes finished in 3:22.35.
A native of Hampton Bays, N.Y., Papajohn, had the fourth-best time of the day in the 400m just missing the 50-second barrier. Papajohn ran a 50.66 giving him a new personal best and the 8th-best time in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). Papajohns' teammate in the 4x400m
Lance Hayes also placed in an event of his own. The senior competed in the 800m and finished with a time of 1:55.96, earning him second place and the second-best time in the MAAC.
More underclassmen shined as first-year
Tyler Durang and sophomore
Joshua Wood finished second and third respectively in the weight throw. Durang would also throw the fifth-best mark in the MAAC (16.12m) while Wood came in right behind him throwing 15.83m. In the mile, sophomore
