ST. ALBANS, Vt. – The Sacred Heart University men's cross-country team put together a phenomenal performance at the Vermont Fall Foliage Invitational, claiming the win on Sunday.
The Pioneers were led by junior
Michael Mason, who finished first overall with a time of 26:07.
Matthew Vene followed close behind, earning a fourth-place showing with a time of 26:48 to help solidify Sacred Heart's lead.
Jake Harold,
Michael Maresca, and
Demetri Franzese all placed inside the top 15, contributing valuable points toward the team victory. Alexander Armendariz and
Harjaap Singh rounded out the scoring for the Pioneers, sealing an impressive and well-rounded team effort.
