FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University men's lacrosse team has unveiled its 2026 schedule, featuring a competitive non-conference lineup and a full slate of Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) matchups. The Pioneers will host six games at Campus Field and play eight on the road, culminating with the MAAC Tournament at the end of April.

Sacred Heart opens the campaign on Friday, February 6, welcoming Stony Brook to Campus Field for the season opener. The Pioneers then hit the road for a two-game stretch with contests at Wagner on February 11 and Holy Cross on February 14.

SHU returns home on February 18 to face Fairfield, before wrapping up the month with a road trip to NJIT on February 28.

"We are excited about our schedule and how it lays out," said Head Coach Jon Basti. "We believe the non-conference slate will prepare us for MAAC play, with some familiar opponents and new challenges as well."

MAAC action begins on Saturday, March 7, when the Pioneers host Merrimack in the conference opener. SHU then alternates home and away throughout the month, traveling to Mount St. Mary's on March 14 before returning home to take on Canisius on March 21. The Pioneers head to Manhattan on March 25 and close out the month with their final non-conference contest at Hofstra on March 28.

April begins with a home matchup against Quinnipiac on April 4. SHU then embarks on consecutive road trips to Siena on April 11 and Marist on April 18, before closing the regular season at home against Iona on April 22.

The MAAC Championship opens with first-round games on Saturday, April 26, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, April 30, and the title contest on Saturday, May 2.
