Baseball Falls to Georgetown 11-0 in Day One of the Westin Lake Mary Stetson Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Sacred Heart University baseball team fell to Georgetown 11-0 on the road Friday afternoon.

Danny Glendon, Jake Frasca and Justin Jordan tallied a hit apiece in the loss.

NOTES (Georgetown 11, SHU 0):

  • Cooper Thompson got the start and took the loss after giving up five earned runs

  • Michael Attonito pitched 1.1 innings in relief work and struck out three batters

  • Danny Glendon, Jake Frasca and Justin Jordan each recorded a single in the loss

  • Jordan also added a stolen base

  • The Hoyas tallied six runs in the first four innings of play

  • Georgetown tallied two runs in the sixth to extend its lead to 8-0

  • The Hoyas added three more runs in the eighth off a solo and two-run homer
