Baseball Falls to Bryant 4-0 in NEC Tournament Opener

NORWICH, Conn. - The Sacred Heart University baseball team fell to NEC-foe Bryant, 4-0 in the NEC Quarterfinals Thursday afternoon at Dodd Stadium. With the loss, The fall to 19-33-1 on the year, while the Bulldogs improve to with a 39-18 on the season.

John Cerretani got the start and took the loss after giving up one earned run on five hits and struck out two in 4.2 innings of work. Justin Levito, Justin Jordan and Alex Perry recorded a hit apiece in the loss.

  • Sam Owens put gave Bryant a 4-0 lead with an RBI single in the sixth
