Hoehn's 33 Points Leads Men's Basketball Past Bryant, 105-104

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Sacred Heart University men's basketball team was able to overcome a 16-point second-half deficit, as the Pioneers defeated Bryant 105-104 on the road Thursday evening at the Chace Athletic Center. The win improves the Pioneers' record to 12-14 overall and 8-5 in league play, while the Bulldogs fall to 8-16 on the year and 5-8 in NEC action.

Five Pioneers scored in double-figures with Sean Hoehn's 33 points leading the way for SHU. Kinnon LaRose provided 19 points and six rebounds off the bench, while Cameron Parker added a career-high 15 points in the win.

  • After Bryant extended its lead to 81-72, the Pioneers went on a 7-1 run to cut the deficit to 82-79 with 7:15 left

  • After Bryant pushed its lead to 86-81 with 6:05 remaining, the Pioneers went on a 9-5 run to cut the deficit to 91-90 with 2:57 left in regulation

  • With SHU trailing 97-92, the Pioneers used the final 44 seconds of regulation to steal a 105-104 win over Bryant.
